To give an instant update to your outfit for Fall (like, next week [yes, I do realize that the Official Start of Autumn isn't for a few more weeks after that]), switch out whatever you’ve been wearing in favor of a satchel in a neutral or a rich color. Your eye may need to get used to the idea, but burgundy can and will go with everything. Orange can too (almost — don’t wear with all black except toward the end of October, and even then, think twice before you do).
